Please help dnn community! I "inherited" a website at my job a year ago and have used dnn to maintain it. I can use most of the modules, am pretty comfortable with html, am able to update site and create new pages. A coworker and I have now been charged with building a new corporate site and, of course, the woman who originally built the skins for our sites no longer works with our company. We are looking for hands on training (either getting a trainer on site or going somewhere for classes). The TakeNote DNN100 class looks good, but I can't get them to respond to us either by email or over the phone. What else is out there? I can only seem to find training videos and documents. We are looking for an instructor. THANKS!!!! Amy P.S. I wasn't sure where to post this, hope it's okay here...

Maybe you'll find someone if you state (better) what you are looking for?

In what country do the lesson have to be given?

Whet level of lessons do you want?
  • General dotnetnuke portal/site management?
  • Developing skins?
  • Developing Modules?
  • Changing default providers to re-implement central functionality?
  • ...

Edit your Skin.xml and Container.xml files with:

Training could be anywhere in the US, or possibly Canada.

Basically I am just trying to find courses in dnn - skin developing is of particular interest, but anything on the design side would be important. We have a webmaster who general takes care of server side of the site but we need to build the site's design and content.

This was the only class I could find that seemed like it would be useful, but they won't respond to me...so I am trying to find out if anything similar exists.

more specifics would definately help.

I was unable to find any real-life classes in Massachusetts other than the one you mentioned.  Until you find one, I'd go along the self-study route.  A couple places to first look are here http://dotnetnuke.com/tabid/125/default.aspx for the documentation and here http://dotnetnuke.com/Default.aspx?tabid=810 for vid tutorials and book suggestions.
