When clicking on a link to a document added to a portal via the Documents module, I get the following error:

The XML page cannot be displayed

Cannot view XML input using style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.


An invalid character was found in text content. Error processing resource 'http://intranet/DotNetNuke/LinkClick.aspx?link=N...

Please help!

What version of DNN and the Documents module are you using?  Is the document you are linking to an XML file?

DNN 4.3.4

Not an XML File.

Any thoughts?

Can you check your web.config and ensure there is a line in the <httpHandlers> section:

<add verb="*" path="LinkClick.aspx" type="DotNetNuke.Services.FileSystem.FileServerHandler, DotNetNuke"/>
