I have now scratched two possible host providers off my list.  1&1 and GoDaddy!

Because of this thread and my personal experience with GoDippy I will not conduct business with them and I hope others are willing to boycott them as well.  I will take a pledge and  will not host with these two companies.

These companies better start taking the DNN community seriously.  DNN forces them to understand how their environment has to be hosted rather than setting up a blind server and walking away.  The Internet is becoming more sophisticated and these sophomoric companies need to go or provide a robust environment.

Otherwise MS is going to feel the pinch as well.  I can not begin to tell you how many people have turned to PHP / MySQL / Apache because of the hosting providers and their inability to understand developer needs.

Can someone please start a thread on hosting providers and DNN.  What good is it to know DNN and not have a place to put it, test it, or promote its use?

What hosting provider is doing a good job in supporting DNN?

I TREBOR am committed to not hosting with       1&1 | or  GoDaddy     for 3 years as punishment for their lack of respect to the DNN community.   They willfully promote DNN support and compliance only to fall short.  They waste valuable time, create unnecessary frustration, and turn people away from Windows, ASP, and DNN.  If you are willing to take this commitment along with me please include your name below:

I wanted to comment on my recent experience with PowerDNN for hosting 3 commercial websites.  First I have never had the above and beyond customer service experience I am getting from this Company.  My customers websites are very important to me and I have found that PowerDNN knows how critical even my most novice questions and concerns are.  This is my third dotnetnuke hosting experience and by far the best.  I recommend PowerDNN for anyone who needs dependable hosting with DNN experts who care about you and your business.
