Hi,

I am trying to customize the [SEARCH] object so that instead of the text "search" I can put my own button image.

I tried using the CssClass attribute in the skin.xml and then defining that class in the skin.css, but it doesn't work.

Does anyone know if this can be done and if so, how?

Many thanks

Ofer

I have several free skins available which have some different elements to them compared to the default skins.

You can view them here - http://www.ninasfreeskins.com/shareme  - well that's the one that has the image used as a search, but http://www.ninasfreeskins.com give you access to view them all and http://www.xd.com.au/downloads.xd will give you access downloads when registered and logged in.

Hope this solves some of your problems!

Hi Nina,

Thanks for the great links!

I saw the view of of little triangle instead of the "Search" keyword, and that's exactly what I am looking for.

However, when I registered to the site and looked for DNN4 skins (there are 2) I didn't see anything that matches this look. Have I missed something?

Many thanks

Ofer

The exact link to the skin is here - it has the references in the skin and the css and the image required. It is the XDShared Skin - that is similar but different to the default Sharepoint skin.
