The situation I described in my previous post is using a copy of IE that has been set to Spanish.  DNN observes the cookie setting in the browser, ignoring the language setting of the browser.  DNN allows the cookie to override any language setting of the browser.  Again, referring to my previous example, the browser is set to Spanish, the portal's default locale is set to Spanish, the user's personal locale is set to English.  When the user logs out, the browser continues to display in English because DNN is using the cookie, not the language of the browser.

I think all kinds of language detection are welcome, but admin users might enable/disable them.

For example, I prefer to use cookie with registered users too because without it, when the logout, the portal will return to the default language, and I don't like that.

Also, a way to let admins to sort all enabled detection features could help.

we can discuss about including or not detection features, but I think we must include all as possible and add the feature to disable and sort.
