Ive noticed that when I place flash in the same area as the Solpartmenu, on anything other than IE on PC, it creates anomolies in the drop down nav.

Is there any way around this?

Yep... and I nearly didn't answer because this stupid forum here constantly logs me out and refuses to return me back to where I was after logging in. This has successfully reduced my reply count to perhaps 10% of what it was when there was a good forum... Nothing gets me worked up as much as my daily dose of DNN!

Anyhow.. I persevered and found the post again.. so here are my notes on the issue:

This article:
http://www.communitymx.com/content/article.cfm?cid=E5141

And my choice of modes:

To the Object tag, add the following parameter:
<param name="wmode" value="opaque">

To the Embed tag, add the following attribute:
wmode="opaque"

Good luck
Rob
