For some reason the TREEVIEW was breaking after an upgrade (3.2.2 to both 3.3.4 and 4.3.4). No amount of fixing things and reinstalling the skin worked. Finally (after WAY too long as in days) the SOB works. Here's the problem & solution:

This is how the skin was parsed and it did not work:

<dnn:TREEVIEW
    runat="server"
    id="dnnTREEVIEW"
    RootOnly="false" 
/>

Some seemingly innocent changes to it got it working properly:

<dnn:TREEVIEW
    runat="server"
    id="dnnTreeView"
    level="root" 
/>

I've deleted all the CSS declarations for clarity.

I don't know exactly why those changes should cause it to function properly, but they do. (And while I am curious, I don't have time to find out why.)

I hope that helps out some poor soul if they encounter the same problem.

Thank you for posting this.  Obviously, there are bugs in the TreeViewMenu object.  Maybe DNN can test their product better.
