I tried to assign a user to the private gallery by selecting mag glass. Lookup DNN user appears. When I try to search for user, I receive an error that says "Server Error '/' in Application.

I know I have users with accounts. Any Ideas?

I am in the same boat... tried assigning a private user to the photo gallery and receive an application error. I've seen a post for someone who has created less buggy gallery but I would like to just resolve this issue without replacing the entire module.

Sorry, but the core gallery team is busy working on the next major version and there is no simple patch for fixing it.  As for replacing the entire module--the patched one is the really the same as the offical beta one--just has the issues fixed :-)

There have been some pretty big changes to the core since module was last released.  You might be able to use the arrow keys in the popup window once you click the magnifiying glass but I'm really not sure.  It's been awhile since I had this version installed on my dev box.

I'm working as quick as I can to get my changes in but it's been pretty crazy around the house lately.  :)  Sorry..
