Hello


I’m using version 3.1.1

I do not have any trouble with this version.

In the past I did an upgrade to version 4.3.2

It did not go well and I was forced to downgrade to version 3.1.1

I noticed there was a “release” version of 4.3.3 followed by version 4.3.4

Is version 4.3.3 a stable version or is it better to wait for another (stable) version?.

The 3.x series is based on ASP.Net 1.1 whereas 4.x is ASP.Net 2.0 . I don't know enough about neither ASP.Net nor DNN to comment on the wisdom/safety of upgrading between the 3.x and 4.x versions. I know that some modules only work with one and not the other, so you may get some breakages. If you want to upgrade, you should probably go up to 3.3.4 and not the 4.3.x series.

3.3.4 is a security fix for a critical problem in all the 3.3.x releases and 4.3.4 is the fix for the 4.3.x releases.

FWIW, I have successfully upgraded several times from 4.0.x to the most recent 4.3.4 without any issues.

The excellent DNN Installation Guide, available in the Documentation Package, lists all the steps for a 3.x to 4.x upgrade.
