Hi,

I just upgraded my intranet from 4.3.1 to 4.3.4 yesterday and I'm finding that all of the existing links to pdf files are opening an extra window when I indicate to open in a new window. the window is empty and has the address :

http://localhost/website/LinkClick.aspx?fileticket=GPASC3tAtdk%3d&tabid=82&mid=401

and then a second window associated with adobe reader 7.x pops up as usual with the document. If I indicate no new browser window, it changes to the same blank page with the second document window underneath. I am thinking this is due to the update I just did since it worked properly just before-hand.  Anyone with experience with this?

The link still works but it is a hassle to close the second window all the time.

I'm having the same problem and run 4.3.4 too.  I've tried exactly what you have and gotten the same results.  Have you found a way to get rid of that extra empty browser window yet?

Bill

This is a reported issue and will be addressed by the core team as it is an issue in the core framework, not the links module.
