Hi All,

Does anyone know if it is possible to encrypt certain information within a DNN (v4) database? I would like to have certain information encrypted so that even if I am hosting my DNN portal with a hosting company I can be confident that they cannot easily access my data.

I tried hosting my own DNN portal at home but my ISP blocks port 80 and using another port is not an option for me.

I know I could store the information by entering it in an encrypted state, but that would require me to manually decrypt the information. I would like to find a process by which the information is encrypted/decrypted on the fly. Perhaps a module or an API that could be used to accomplish this.

Has anyone come across anything that might fit the bill?

Thanks for any help!

- Derek
