I am trying to create a tempate and define some markup in the template but it seems to not work.  When I build the template I have no class tag on my span but when I run it I get this span class "normal"

I dont want to change hte normal class I just want it to be gone... how can I get over this and actually define some items in the template?

Thanks

All tags are rendered with the "normal" class.

To override the class applied to a particular tag, edit the associated .xml file and add a CssClass setting for the Object.

Example: Render the Title with a custom class named "MyTitleClass"

In the template.xml file, change the [TITLE] tag definition as follows;

 <Object>
  <Token>[TITLE]</Token>
  <Settings>
   <Setting>
    <Name>CssClass</Name>
    <Value>MyTitleClass</Value>
   </Setting>
  </Settings>
 </Object>
