How do I configure 2 DNN Servers using the same Databases, but when I enter the last installed server it redirects me to the first installed one, when what I want it to do is to have the same data on both (redundancy).

Thanks

I don't see why one would want this, but that's not your question...
I think the problem could be in the portal alias, this is in the database too and shared between the two installs.

I guess the answere is: DNN is not made for this...

Maybee you can explain why you want this, there might be a different solution.

I believe your talking about load-balancing the installations. So if one server goes down, the second server will take the entire load. In this situation the two web servers act in concert utilizing a common database server.
This can be achived a number of ways, but the two major one are software load-balancing and hardware load-balancing (my preference).

Software LB can be done this Win 2003 Web Server Edition with the built in LB feature. This method is inexpensive but has some draw-backs. Hardware LB is done at the switch level, meaning the web servers are really unaware of what is taking place, freeing up CPU load. The LB switch also handles (for most good LB switchs) the sessions.

Hope this point you in the right direction.

Is your question answered?
