No I haven't. This forum seemed to have more responses when it was on the Community Forums at ASP.net. I had to do more time consuming research on my own. Have you taken advantage of cjsmitty's generous offer?

I discovered that my organization doesn't have a fibre backbone between locations, so clustering over a WAN is out. That really leaves SQL Server Transactional Data Replication. This is really my sticking point. I do not know if I can just replicate the whole database because of the portal alias table. I guess this is more of a DNS issue. I could probably have the same name for each server, if I implement the DNS to automatically redirect the user to the closest server.

Anyway, I am also still waiting for some help...

You wrote this....
"I believe your talking about load-balancing the installations. So if one server goes down, the second server will take the entire load. In this situation the two web servers act in concert utilizing a common database server."

Hello again... well. thanks for your information... that gives us some hope about it..

We have configured just a server running DNN... but trying to get another running DNN with the same SQL database server... no results... The secondary server points to the first installed... and if you get the primary server down... the secondary does not work...

We need to set up to three servers using DNN and pointing to the same SQL sever... and make sure the information among those servers to be replicated, just in case one of the is down any time...

About the LB... we already have equipment (local director)  to do this... our problem is configurate those three servers using DNN and share the information.

OUR MAIN PROBLEM IS TRYING TO SET UP MORE THAN ONE SERVER USING "DNN" TO POINT TO THE SAME SQL SERVER.

If you have any clues or methods.. we will thank you.
