Hi, thanks a lot for the response. That info very much coincides with what I've been reading and experiencing with my test projects. I guess I'm of the mindset that DNN should be providing us with "best practices" and definitive guides on how to create modules, skins, etc. Especially considering DNN has a "review program" moving the company in a position to authoritatively tell us what's right and wrong. But this is definitely not the case here.

I'm going to try out a variation of this guide:

It's basically the same way as deving mods for DNN 3.0. Maybe I'll write my own simple guide for experts. I don't think we need a step-by-step with screenshots anyway. lol!
