Hello,

Dears All,

I've a probelm in installation could anyone help me plz ..

I'm trying to install DotNetNuke3.3.2_Source ..

I follow these steps:

³     Unzip the folder in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot

³     Rename the folder to DotNetNuke

³     Cerate a virtual directory in IIS

³     Rename Release.config to Web.config

³     Create new database in SQL2000 n called it DotNetNuke

³     Assign a user to the DotNetNuke database which is dbo and give the permission as public and db_owner

³     I tried to change the file permission by ri8 click on the folderàpropertiesà but the security tab not found there..

³     Browse the web site :http://localhost/DotNetNuke

³     The following error appears : Error 403 : U r not authorized to view this page !

³     When I built it from Visual Studio2003 it gives no error in building but when it open

http:// localhost/DotNetNuke/Default.aspx  it shows an error : Object reference not set to an instance of an object

 

TypeName =CType(objProviderConfiguration.Providers(objProviderConfiguration.DefaultProvider), Provider).Type
