Any pointers as to how i can extend the profile and registration sections?

Login as Admin or Host, select Admin|User Accounts and click on Manage Profile Properties, click on Add New Profile Property. Honestly, it is that simple.

Adding the field by your sugestion, the field is only available on the profile. The new field that i want to add is in the register of the user, to connect de dnn_Users to my table of Employees. In my portal only the admin can creates users and de user can update is profile.
