Hello

I am thinking of inserting a flash intro as a splash page.  However, I understand that a splash page does not contain a menu. So to redirect to the Home page I need to insert a meta refresh command.

Where would I insert this command and what is the format of this command.

Or is there another way to redirect the splash page to the Home Page?

Thanks

Lynn

Hi Lynn!

Most users can't be bothered to sit through a flash intro so I typically insert a "Skip Intro" or "Enter Site" hyperlink to my home page just beneath the Flash element.

If you want users to register or login before they get past the splash page, you can designate a "Redirect after login" page in Admin>User Accounts>User Settings.  Different pages can be assigned according to User Role, so it is a pretty powerful tool.

Hope this helps!
Kelly
