Good Day,

Has there been a solution or a sample of an inventory control process?

Thanks

I've considered this and may be adding the functionality over the weekend.

Allan -- Is there any progress on this? As others have posted, I have small volumes of unique items, and many of them are one-of-a-kind. Right now, it's high maintenance to be checking orders repeatedly in order to be sure I don't get two orders for a one-of-a-kind item.

I don't mind having to do some manual maintenance for cancelled orders, but I really would like to hide or flag items that are sold out.

I haven't implemented this myself yet, but I'm not a member of the Store development team - perhaps one of them has?

OK. Since there is a near total lack of posts from the Dev team on project progress, I just added simple inventory control to the Store. It's a lot easier than previous posts indicate. A checkbox and text field on the product info control, and additions to the Products table, and the Update and "Get" SPs. I only need to modify the product display and cart to use textboxes for quantity, intead of the "+" and "-" links, with a check to prevent a user from entering a quantity larger than what is in stock.

Not sure what to do with it. Can't find e-mail links to the Core developers, and getting no response on the forums or blogs.

Any chance you would consider posting it (and the code) someplace for me (and others) to download?  I was about to start coding this same feature and then I saw your post :)

Thanks
