It appears to be mostly random.  By that I mean I can be just browsing around and get kicked out.  However the 'mostly' part is that there are patterns that I can follow that will result in getting the boot.  One pattern is adding pages.  I can add one page just fine, but when I try to add a second, I'm logged out.

I was able to reproduce the problem with another PC, browsing the same website.  I have 4.3.4 installed locally and this problem doesn't occur.

I also tried upgrading to DNN 4.3.5 so I could specify a PersistentCookieTimeout value and click 'Remeber Login' when logging in.  No luck.  I still get kicked out just the same.

<appSettings>

...

<add key="PersistentCookieTimeout" value="360" />

</appSettings>

I cant tell you what to do because Im not sure of your priorities but here are your options( in no particular order)

*wait around for someone to give you a solution, with an occasional bump(Your Platinum membership should get some response from a core team member.)
*Create a child portal, see if you have the same problem
*look for more people having the same problem on dnn forums(make sure its the same version)
*Check google, add site:dotnetnuke.com for one of your searches.
*try upgrading, or waiting for the latest upgrade
*emailing core team members
*contacting brinkster customer support or maybe brinkster support forums
*Editing the core code with log messages to get more information about where it is or is not happening.
*Reinstall everything
*Install a website on brinkster(different domain) slowly add content and see if the problem persists
*Go back to a previouis version that worked
*get a copy of teh db and site files and load them locally on your machine to help you debug and test

I would ask cnurse, he seems to be smart about this authentication shiat.

Thanks... I think.

* In progress

* Done. Same problem

* Done.  Found one, his isn't resolved either.

* Done.  Not much more information than what I found here.

* Done.  I'm on 4.3.5.  No luck.

* I'll do this, but I was hoping to find an answer in/from the forums first.  That way others can benefit from the solution as well.

* Done.  They have some clients using DNN successfully, some that aren't and they don't know why.  And they don't seem interested in finding out.  And even if they knew the answer, they wouldn't change the configuration of a shared server.  Although that begs the question of: If it does truly work for some clients, then are the server configurations different (non-standard on their own network)?

* I tried adding a session variable (per another suggestion in the forum).  No luck.  Any other suggestions? (please?)

* Done. No change.

* I could do this, but it's not desirable.

* Fresh 4.3.4 install, this version never worked (on Brinkster)

* Works locally.

Thanks again, I'll send an email to cnurse.
