Hi Anthony

I like the documents module very much - in fact, I've noticed some signficant changes in the important ones like the documents module and UDT in the last few months, and I was hoping to see a few more enhancements to the Documents module - One of them is when I'm adding documents - I'm not always sure what the view rights are.

Do you see any possiblity of an enhancement in the future that gives me a warning that the selected document does not have "view" rights of all users?

From my perspective it could be a handy time saver!

Thanks
Nina Meiers

FYI, I've entered this in Gemini (issue #DOC-4448)

FYI, just implemented this feature.  The new code checks to make sure that the module's view roles are a subset of the file's (folder) view roles & displays a warning otherwise.

(so for each view role for the module, that role must also be able to view the file, or a warning message is shown).
