Hey,

I am trying to install dnn 3.3.4 on a virtual directory. I am using SQL Server 2005 (EXPRESS) and the .NET FRAMEWORK 1.1 on the IIS. But when I try to install, I have always te following error:

Error Installing DotNetNuke

Current Assembly Version: 03.03.04

ERROR: Could not connect to database specified in connectionString for SqlDataProvider

Connectonstring I'm using: <add key="SiteSqlServer" value="Server=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx;Database=dnn334;uid=xxx;pwd=xxx;"/>

On the same server I already installed 2 dnn434 versions connected to the same sql server, but other databases, with the same user and password. The connectionstring is the same, except the database.

Somebody an solution?

Greetz,
Bart

You probably already checked this, but did you assign the user the right permissions on the new database?

Yes, I already read the installation guide. The configuration of the database is the same as the other databases with a dnn 4 installation.

Can you install DNN 3.3.4 on a SQL 2005 EXPRESS Server?
