harpreetkaur,

I ran into the same issue with merging the code behind to the DNN project.  Did you find how to integrate the code to the project?

Thanks.

What do you mean integrate the code into your project? I think the better question would be, can your project be integrated into the store module?

Separately, I think you could reference all of the core store Business classes and rewrite the main store pages in VB.NET. In my own research using Allan's now freely available update to the store module (not much, just converted to .net 2.0, and even then I had to put in way more time than necessary if I would have followed the instructions earlier in this thread...). The important point here is that the store module when upgraded can't take advantage of all the really cool new features of Visual Studio.NET because the module will sheet a brick when you change the CodeBehind page directive to CodeBeside, thus forcing you to declare all the codebehind classes as partial classes, which then causes an ambiguous reference to code that will exist in more than one assembly... I am still waiting on a workaround that won't require me to completely sheet can the whole Catalog.webcontrols project and start over with a fresh one (thanks Allan for the code in its current form, just that I want to be able to double click on my control in the VS Designer and have the code appear for that control in the code behind).

In any event, I have another post on here where I have made available my revised version of Allan's enhanced DNN Core cart, which among other things includes instructions on how to get the damn thing working as well as links to download either the complete source of everything or just the module. It is in the thread talking about the release of the module, but you should be able to find it by searching, and I copied my post to my blog linked below.

Take care,

Kenneth S. Courtney
