Hi,

I would like to know how to perform teh backup and recovery/restoring process in DNN.

This process is really required when we wold like to take a backup or in any disaster occured.

Help me in getting to the process!!!

Try doing a search of these forums you should find suggestions on how to do this.  Basically, it involves taking a copy of the codebase and portal folders plus backing up the database.
There are also 3rd party modules that can automate the process.  Look on Snowcovered

In thi page you yo will find links to the BackpScript module documentation. I think its Backup / Restore guide is "univesal" and useful even when NOT using the module: http://www.evotiva.com/Modules/BackupScript/tabid/57/Default.aspx
The same is valid for BackupNative, you can check both guides.
