It's not the trailing slash again is it?

From you post you have an alias of http://www2.wilcrestarearunners.org:82/

Here is my alias list:

localhost:82
www.wilcrestarearunners.org
192.168.1.253:82
wilcrestarearunners.org
www2.wilcrestarearunners.org

Your alias will need to match whatever DNN is actually being called with, so I think you'll need

www2.wilcrestarearunners.org:82

And you probably don't need wilcrestarearunners.org since it is apparently being remapped through Webhops.

John thanks for the reply.  Here are my web alias now:

localhost:82
www2.wilcrestarearunners.org:82

My DNN site still does not come up at all when I try to access using the domain name.

  • When I browse the site directly by right clicking the site in IIS, no problem.
  • When I browse using localhost:82, no problem.
  • When I try to access with wilcrestarearunners.org, www.wilcrestarearunners.org, or www2.wilcrestarearunners.org (all of which are ultimately WebHopped to www2.wilcrestarearunners.org:82) - NO DICE! It does not work from the web server, or from my PC.
I believe the webhop is working properly - I think either IIS is not serving the way it should, or DNN is not responding for some reason.

Your help is appreciated!
Tracy

It's probably the webhop part. You need to see what the host headers look like on the server when you go through that. You should see the requests in the IS logs for that website.

Also, to narrow it down, try setting up a simple html website without DNN.  Then try to access a page on from that website.
