I have started using DNN 4.3.4 and I really like it. However, I am having some stylesheet issues I have never encountered with previous versions of DNN;  none of my changes show up and it seems as if the site is not reading the skin.css.

In all my previous DNN sites, I have used all available style sheets, plus an embedded style if I needed one. Always works great. Now, with this latest version, something seems to be killing the stylesheet. I tried putting the embedded style in the skin.css, but the default.aspx only seems to render it if it is embedded into the skin file.

Like I said, this always worked before, but something is blocking my skin.css from being read.

I don't know if you solved your problem, but in your example page the following stylesheets are loaded:

/Portals/_default/default.css
/Portals/_default/Skins/smith-skin/skin.css
/Portals/0/portal.css

So normally they should work.

I saved the home page and I could change the body background-color, and it worked.

Could you point out one or more specific block(s) you have issues with, and what the issues are..?

Thank you for your reply Timo. I agree, they should work. I have worked on this problem for three weeks and I continue to have major issues with the style sheets not working. No matter what changed I make and upload, nothing happens. when I edit the stylesheet using the Firefox css tool, I can see changes.

I have double checked to make sure I am uploading the file to the right directory and all sorts of other double checks. I also installed the very complicated catalook store here (lots of features, if I could figure them out and the documentation sucks, and I can only seem to make limited changes on the stylsheet for the store modules and skin. Probably not related, but I felt compelled to complain nonetheless.

Anyway, I saw a post on another forum that someone had stylesheet order problems, but that is all they said with no additional information anywhere. I sure wish I could figure this out, it is driving me crazy and making go back to earlier versions of DNN for future developments to avoid this problem in the future.  If anyone has an answer, or solution, I would love to hear from you.
