In addition to the above configuration, I would like to get advice on the best strategy to use for registration.  It is very important for my site that I have some confirmation / validation on my users' identities.  I am currently planning on using "Verify" as I very much like this automated approach to confirm email addresses.  In fact, this feature was the single reason why I chose DNN for my site.  However, I wonder if I will lose a lot of people because the portal's automatic email will be blocked by people's SPAM filters or firewalls. 

Does anyone know how often automatic emails are blocked this way?  Any suggestions on the best way to configure registration to minimize/avoid this issue?  I have purchased DataSprings Dynamic Registration 2.2 module, but am open to other suggestions.
