Hi All,

I'm sorry if this was asked before, but I couldn't find it anywhere. My problem is that I want to place a Commission Junction Smartzone banner in the site's 'header' (?); the module that is supposed to be controlled by the 'Vendors' module. It is a javascript tag:

[SCRIPT type="text/javascript" LANGUAGE="javascript" src="http://www.qksz.net/1e-cd0p"] [/SCRIPT]

replaced '<>' with '[]' JIC.

I've tried this as a text and a script ad but no luck. The best I can get is to just use the URL portion as the banner location and I'll get a broken picture icon.

The banner shows up fine when editing the banner properties, but not in the header area.

Has anybody had any luck with this system?

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Thanks In Advance,
Arden Robinson

This might be a little off the subject, but please read below.

At this time I can not seem to get my banners to rotate at all for me in my site.  That is either using the banner module directly or simply turning on banner advertisements under the site settings under the administrator login.  Basically it takes the top banner in my list and simply always displays that one.  The only reason why any of my other banners have been seen at all is because I disabled them one a a time in order to see what might be the hold up, but found that it did not matter how many banners I have nor what order they are in.  It just always displays only the one top banner.  Any ideas at all will be greatly appreciated as this is starting to drive me a little be crazy here.  This is running on a Windows 2003 server that I control completely, so I have been checking the error logs in the event viewer to find no errors at all.  Any other suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

P.S.

Just out of curiosity I did a control F5 here and seen the banner change, which is not what my site is doing.  I just want it to load the next banner in order each time the page refreshes or is loaded.

i am having the same problem with google adsense banners.  they are in script form:

ex. -

<script type="text/javascript"><!--
google_ad_client = "pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx";
google_ad_width = 468;
google_ad_height = 60;
google_ad_format = "468x60_as_rimg";
google_cpa_choice = "xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx";
google_ad_channel = "";
//-->
</script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">
</script>

they do not show up on the rotation, but they appear fine whenever you go to edit them.
