Any idea what happened (at least I thought there was a version of this) to the 3.3.4 starter kit for DNN?  I currently unfortunately can not afford to completely switch my development environment to ASP.NET 2.0 unfortunately and I am completely unwilling to use SQLExpress edition of a SQL server when don't have to so I am pretty much stuck at this time until my finances improve to develop in ASP.NET 1.1, thus using 3.3.4 of DNN.  My main question is where is the starter kit for this version?  I would love to be able to start developing modules for DNN for the version I have and to also share what I develop with the community.  I would be nice if some one can point me in the right direction to where this starter kit is or if this does not actually exist if some one can point me in the direction to get the basic layout so I can create a starter kit of sorts to do my development with.  I greatly appreciate any input anyone can give for me on this subject.

There never was a 3.3.4 starterkit. All the starterkit's are designed to word with visual web developer express or vs.net 2005, so therefore they're all asp.net 2.0 code. I suspect you mean the 4.3.4 starterkit which can be found on the usual page http://dotnetnuke.com/tabid/125/default.aspx

Actually I was not meaning the ASP.NET 2.0 starter kits, so it was just a misunderstanding on my side after all.  Do you know if there is any plans on starting a starter kit for those of use who can not afford to go out and start developing in ASP.NET 2.0 at this time?  Because even though VWD 2005 Express edition is free it only works with SQLExpress which does not play so well with my current version of Database Server on my development machine.  Also I would really rather keep my 3.3.4 version instead since I just finally got it setup then having to try to upgrade to 4.3.4, is this even possible to make the switch directly over from one version to another like this?  If so I guess this will most likely be my own possible option, if anyone of the development team knows if this is easily possible without the risk of loosing everything just setup again (as I had to manually make the move from 4.0.3 back to 3.3.4 and reenter everyone manually I really don't want to have to do it again, but will do what I have to so I can start giving my members (even though very little of them there are) what I promised, newly developed modules even though it will take some time).

Actually VWD can use any data source, you just need to alter the connectionstring accordingly. We cannot make a 3.3.4 starterkit, as it's an asp.net 2.0 technology. You can switch between versions easily enough, read the installation guide in the documentation download, it shows an example of upgrading from asp.net 1.1 to 2.0.
