Hi

I am installing latest version 4.3.
- I unzip the zip file to c:\dotnetnuke4\website
- I created the IIS folder and ensured dotnet2.
- Created a dotnetnuke database in sqlserver express. (no tables exist, never added any users as windows auth)
- Left web.config with all default settings as it does point to sql server express by default.
- Then ran http://localhost/dotnetnuke2 but received the below error.

Are there any sql scripts I need to run, or anything I have missed out on. Have tried to follow install instructions carefully. Does anyone know if I missed something.

I could create a test ODBC connection with windows authentication to the dotnetnuke database, so I assume all is ok on that side.

The Assembly Version ( [ASSEMBLYVERSION] ) does not match the Database Version ( [DATABASEVERSION] )

ERROR: Could not connect to database.

The stored procedure 'dbo.GetPortalAliasByPortalID' doesn't exist.

Try using sql authentication, create user, pwd and update your web.config file with the two connection strings for Sql Express 2K5.  After that please run in your URL:

http://localhost/dotnetnuke2/install/install.aspx?mode=install
