The book is not 4.0 as the title suggests.  It looks like all the examples and code are for 3.0.  The book even lists and shows helper classes that are available in 3.0 only.   This book has confused me beyond anything I could have ever imagined :)

You are talking about this book which had several authors right?

I haven't seen the new book yet, but not much changed in developing modules between 3.0 and 4.0, except for maybe the new dynamic compile in Asp.Net 2.0 where code can be put in the App_Code directory.

Does it mention any of that?
