UDT is quickly becoming one of my favorite and most useful modules!

I want to use the same technique supplied for email (Link) and apply it to downloads so that I can use the document short name as the download link.

I created a column named URL this column is the download data type, and it is hidden.
I created a column named Name this column is the Text data type, and is required.
I created a column named Download this column is the Calulated data type and I have this in my extended settings:
'<a href="' ' + URL + ' ">'  + Name +  '</a>'

I get this error:
Syntax error: Missing operand after " + URL + " operator

Can you tell me what I did wrong?  I assume it's something simple.
