Can someone who successfully runs a DNN install hosted on WebHost4Life please share with me what they had to do in their host setup for SMTP settings?

If I set a up a user account with an e-mail address belonging to my primary domain, I can click the "forgot password" and I'll get the password reminder e-mail.   If I set it to anything else, it won't go through.

I logged a ticket with WH4L who recommended changing my SMTP IP address but after initially thinking that worked, I think I was wrong. 

I'd greatly appreciate some knowledge sharing in this area.   thanks!

I am in the same boat. I am trying to get the DNNMasters Membership Management import to auto send Notifications to new users that I import and it won't. I think I resolved this issue once before on another site, but it has been so long that I cannot figure it out.

Let me know if you do so.

Hi Cliff,

Actually, WH4L were very quick to respond to my inquiry, and they suggested changing the host name I was using under the STMP setup screen.  (FYI the server address they gave me that worked was: server368.mysite4now.com  -- but it may be different for you).

I left the authentication level at anonymous, used my WH4L domain e-mail address and password and poof, it worked!

I found on the WH4L forums to use mail.webhost4life.com with anonymous authentication and it worked for me...once. The Password reminder came immediately and I auto registered new members using DNNMasters MMS. I just tried another round of the same tests and I am still awaiting the emails...and they just came.
