I do not know if this is related to my earlier issues I have posted regarding issues with Firefox, the profile, and the FCK editor, but I now have an additional issue.

I am using the latest FCK editor and upgraded my portals to 4.3.5.  Now, in one of my portal's profile user settings I am seeing a bunch of extra fields listed on the screen that should not be there.  Other similar portals of mine (separate installs) do not have this issue.  There are 6 or 7 extra fields per every RichText property that exists in the profile.  So there are a bunch of Biography fields, and a bunch for a separate RichText property I created.  They all start in name like "DNNFCK#ZZZ#..." where ZZZ is a different 3 character entry for each of the 6 or 7 items per RichText property.

I will post an image of this later.  The fortunate thing is that I did back up the site before upgrading and that the site appears to be working properly currently.

Is there something I can do to clean this up, or should I roll back to 4.3.4?

Thanks,
Shawn

To provide more info, the mysterious extra entries on the User Settings page appear to be the actual FCK Editor instance settings for each RichText property in your Profile.  I will post pic when able.

Shawn, please provide the following info

1) The problem appears on every account?. or just host or admin?

2) It appears when using the edit user option inside ADMIN -> User Accounts, or it happens when clicking the USER skin object?

3) If you change the default provider to FTB, the problem still exists?

Regards

Hi - thanks for the response.
  1. It only occurs when logged in as host or admin and attempting to set the User Settings, it's not when attempting to update a user's profile.  To get to the page I am referring to click Admin - User Accounts - User Settings.  This page is only accessible to the admin/host.
  2. See above - its when using the Admin - User Accounts - User Settings (link at bottom).  It happens when logged in as either host or admin, and happens with both IE and FF.
  3. Problem exists no matter what html provider I use.
I think it is because I had added a second RichText profile property to this particular portal prior to the 4.3.5 upgrade.  My other portals that I upgraded which also use the FCK editor did not have a second RichText profile property.  None of them have this issue.

I guess I am at a loss for what to do at this point.  This is a site slated to go live within 2 weeks and I have stopped adding content until I decide whether to roll back to 4.3.4 or not.  The site seems to function ok and I'd rather stay with 4.3.5 if possible.

Any help would be appreciated.
