Hi there,

Is there a possibility to change or copy and change the module template from the starter kit.

I want to do something similar but a little bit different, are sources of the template available or how does this work ?

Thanks in advance,

Arco

It isn't that hard, even I have done it ;)

  • In your template directory of VS E.g. My Documents\Visual Studio 2005\Templates\ItemTemplates\Visual Web Developer\CSharp
  • There you wil find a Zip file containing all the files used in the template.
  • Extract it, When you extract this file, you see a similar directory structure with all the files.
  • Change it (for instance in the C# version change the & in + signs for string concats)
  • Compact it again (watch your base dir)
  • Replace or add the zip  to the directory et voila, you have a new template for the module :)

Hope this helps
