Hi,

I am happy to let you know, that I have already developed such a Module named MorphMod

It covers all the suggestions as mentioned here, and it has some additional too, like Rattling the Image, option to choose different type of SlideShow or displaying links in varity of manners. It basically uses the custom Media Component developed by me, which further can be used as a SkinObject too

Jaydeep,

At no extra cost, the first release of the DNN module will also rock.  Lots of quality ground work has and is going in to the development of this module so we are able to deliver a high quality solution to the many issues around media on the internet.

I'm late giving input to this, but I'll do it anyway. The advanced media functionality will be great, but please don't leave out the ability to link to an internal or external page from an image and its title, including the option to open the linked page in a new browser window. That's what I really miss with the current DNN Image module.

And, is there an expected date for the release of this new Image module? And will it be for DNN 3x and 4x?

Thanks,

Mick Ruthven
