Can it be that the sql database is slow?

delete from dbo.{objectqualifier}ScheduleHistory

Somewhere there is a duplicate key. So you can trace down where, or simply delete all scheduler history so no duplicate key will exists anymore.

Hi,

Can anybody tell me why this is happening? At Webhost4Life they took my database + all websites down of this? I have all standard modules installed?

I have a log file of 800MB and a database of 80MB. My log is full of timeout errors to the database server. The database server has > 450 databases in it (so heavy stuffed with other DNN sites). Can it be that this is the problem? Not DNN, but a cheap way of stucking a lot of databases on one server?

Jelle

I've posted this same query twice before, never had a response. I can't tell if its a problem or not.. tho the post above worries me because I'm on wh4l as well.

Should the log be free of all these red scheduler exceptiong errors or does it not matter?

Hmm...I am worried as well since > 450 database (many DNN's) are on one db server. I have performance problems reported in the morning and afternoon in the USA (myself I am +1GMT). So I think then the webhost4life server gets the most to do.

I have downloaded the complete stuff...2 days later with all sites down (thank you webhost4life!! ...they shouldn't advertise on DNN if they are making hot boxes which will give DNN bad credits!).

I have installed everything locally, took some keep alive stuff away, shrink my db, changed the recovery model to simple (log was 800 MB large, db only 70MB), so I have even my doubt they backup every night my db's !!! If they would the database log should never be that large..most of all, because there where only few exception loggins on the day they took my db offline....

Does your database perform at times bad as well? How did you fix? I actually can hardly fix something since the DNN runs fine on my PC! No problems!

Maybe we should start a forum about hosting!
