What I'm trying to do is quite simple really, I'm trying to put an image beneath the logo by modifying the skin file (*.ascx). I've copied the example in the Skinning docs, but no success. Here's a portion of my code...

<TD vAlign="middle" align="center"><IMG src="(parent)banner.jpg" height="165" width="770" border="0"></TD>

When I fire up the web page, the image just doesn't show... Thanks in advance

You can use the <%= SkinPath %> directive to help. So if the image is in a folder named /images beneath the skin folder, it would be:

<td align="center" valign="middle"><img src="<%= SkinPath %>images/banner.jpg" height="165" width="770" border="0"></td>
