One thing i noticed about most cms is the ability to create or modify your own skins in application.  After much searching round one of the only things i found is by cookdnn which looks a really nice idea and in my personal opion is something that would greatly enhance skinning design for basic users as a typical example is the restrictions on pre bought skins with set tables and most beginners have scratched their head wanting just to put that other table in. Link Other enhancements would also be nice like editing already uploaded skins as well as background editing and addition of widgets which have noticed is missing from.

Just a idea

To be honest, these are the exact options I really would not like....
As a designer, the last thing I want is the users of a site having the ability to ruin the corporate identity because they can change the skin....
My experience is that if people can change things, they will....

There is a set of skins which comes bundled with some add-on tools which to a limited extent gives you the capability to edit the skins through DNN.  You can find them here:  http://www.dnndesigner.com/.
