Hello,

I'm wondering if there is any DotNetNuke modules that allow me to create my own reports by inputting my own SQL commands.  I can create reports that are selectable via a drop down.  In addition, the reports will be exportable to csv or excel.

Thanks

The core project 'reports' module allows you to create a report based on your own SQL.  It outputs the data in a grid format.
I don't recall it allowing you to select a specific report, but you could accomplish that by linking to a specific implementation of the report module.  Also I believe there are other non-core modules out there for reporting.

have a look at well as SQLPageSelectedGrid and SQLPageSelectedView by Paul Scarlett (http://www.tressleworks.ca)

But be aware, that edit access always is a security risk, as a user could e.g. try to retrieve the content of the users table

Check out OnyakTech PDF Reports.  You can generate reports using SQL and embed HTML, RTF, images, graphs, etc.   The reports available are presented in a list and when selected for download the report is executed and output as a PDF file.

Also check out Kanetix-Pi.  You can use SQL to generate charts displayed in your site.  Also contains the options to display a data grid of your data below the chart.

Both are available from www.OnyakTech.com
