I have developed an external LDAP authentication provider and have it working with Fedora Directory Server and IBM Directory Server.  It is based on the AD Provider and DNN 4.0.x code base.

I'd like to contribute it back to DNN to have it incorporated but am not sure of the process for that.

Thanks,

Toby

How funny. I was thinking about writing one myself. I have a need to keep authorization within DNN, but defer authentication to an LDAP server. I do this currently with some of our home-brewed ASP.NET apps, and would like to extend the functionality to DNN.

Would you be willing to share the code?

Thanks,
m

No problem.  Let me package it up and post it somewhere for download.  Hopefully Tam will notice this and start the process to get this into the core package.

Has this been posted somewhere?  It would save me a lot of work.
