So is there a way to compile it for 4.3.5 ?
I don't know how to it by myself and I'm very surprised that nobody done it yet...

The admin role removal issue really isn't a big thing to fix.  I will just set it up so that it doesn't remove dnn roles.

Please, If I knew how to make this fix for the newest DNN I would. Is there anyone out there that can re-compile if for the new version? I have DNN435 on my intranet for 800 users, and can't deploy because of issues with the Active Directory module, and would rather not downgrade to use older version 335. Surely there is someone working on development of this module.

It should be as simple as making the same changes slhilbert did for DNN 3 on the same pages in DNN 4 and recompiling. I'm going to attempt it but won't have any time until Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning at the earliest.

slhilbert, that's just what I was going to do. Check everything except the Admin and Host roles.

2. Make sure you use the Pre-Windows 2000 group name as your DNN role name. I couldn't figure out why no accounts were getting added to the Business Staff group until I looked at the properties for the group in the AD and saw that the pre-windows 2000 group name was Busstaff. Changed the DNN role name to that and accounts started to get added.

I'm not on the administration side of I/T so I'm not sure what you mean about the pre-windows 2000 group name.  I know that our servers are running Win 2003 Server.  One thing I noticed while debugging.

In ADSIProvider.vb at line 167 I looked at 2 values in my Immediate Command window:

? objrole.RoleName
"Domain Users"
? entry.Name
"CN=Domain Users"

Are these the 2 values being compared?  If so, it's obvious what the problem is.  AD is returning the value with "CN=" before the group name.  Now one thing I need to point out is that I'm testing on a Windows XP machine running IIS 5 and I had to turn on impersonate in web.config.  I have no idea if this is interefering or not.  I do have access to a Win 2003 server running IIS 6 to test on, but I'd like my development to be consistant with my test if possible.
