I might be mis-understanding, but why don't you just use the one that is included in the starter kit.

Comes with a C# and VB.NET module template along with application framework and skinning templates.

You can find it in the download section.

I have been using the c# template from the starterkit, but it just don't work. There are problems in getting an object-instance in the inicial components section of the module.

please send me your template too, it would be great if it would work!

I have a C# version of the Survey Module that you can install like a normal module, and then strip down to use as a template.

There's very little to starting a module, and you can use free software like Visual Web Developer Express if you don't have Visual Studio or don't want to mess around with command line compilers, etc.

Go to the DNN wiki at www.dnnwiki.net and the video tutorials show how to make a module.
