Usually when I develop a skin, I keep all skin-related graphics in the same folder, so yes. This also makes pathing alot easier.

@silentbob,

I'm a little confused.  What is FCKEditor?  Is it a HTML module for DNN?  Does it allow me to add a background image behind my HTML text?

I want to simply specify .jpg as my background and type text on top of it...

To SilentBob:

How do you upload your own skin creation and make DNN convert it?

Thanks,

When I make a skin, I usually start in Dreamweaver or the like, making the layout and graphics work (along with inserting any tokens (ie. [LOGIN], [CURRENTDATE], [MENU], etc. Then, I create a ZIP with the neccessary files in it, usually along the lines of:

skin_name.html
skin_name.css
skin_name.xml
image.jpg
etc...

Then, under the Host menu (can also be done from Admin) I go to the Skins page and choose "upload skin", point it to the ZIP I created and DNN does the parsing and insertion of the DNN bits.

Hope that helps and makes sense...

To SilentBob:

I am using DNN 4x, I go to the Admin>>Skins>>
and I don't see any option to "Upload Skin"

Any idea why I can't upload skins? I am using the admin account.

thanks
