I have tried to do a search on this but the search on this site just ends in an error each time. I also went through as many posts as I could but still haven't found the answer.

I want to have an events calendar on my home page so it has to be small. I've changed the style sheet to read

.Event{width:100px; height:100px}

I now have a small calendar but the module itself still takes up half my pageand the calendar is just centered in the module with a ton of white space around it!  How do I fix this?

This is your container you see.  Just go into the Events Module "Settings" and set module container to <Not Specified>

No it's not the container. I've used the container for other modules in Dnn3 and 4. The problem seems to be the module itself taking up about 400px no matter how big the calendar is.

P.S. I tried a different container and get the exact same result.

Thats quite interesting.  I just created the problem myself with a standard DNN Container I set the Events

.Event{width:100px; height:100px}

This created a small calendar with the module container around it.  Next I set the Events module container to

<Not Specified> and the calendar showed fine without any borders.

Well, I take it you've tried "without" <Not Specified> a container?

And checked the module.css in the Events Mod folder and container.css in the container folder?

Is this a live site please post it.

Thx,

I have tried specifying no container, not specified etc none of this had made a difference. I've tried making the calendar smaller than 100px but apparently this can't be done either. The space the module takes up in the left content pane encroaches on my main content pane making it far too small. I can't think of what else to try. The events module in DNN 3 worked perfectly.

Thanks
