Let's just say we've had a bit of a problem and there were thousands of DNN tabs generated by a script, instead of the extra 100 or so that were originally desired.

No problem, just went into my SQL Manager and deleted the extra records. Oops, theres still the TabPermissions table. Can someone suggest a little SQL that would:

a) Check if the related Tabid in the TabPermissions.TabID exists in the Tabs table
b) If not, delete that record

Deleting the tabs 'manually' in my SQL manager was simple enough, but I dont want to test my luck with some number sequences..

thanks

this will delete any rows from tabpermission that do not have corresponding tabids in the tabs table:

delete from tabpermission where tabpermissionid in (select tabpermissionid from tabpermission where tabid not in (select tabid from tabs))

hope that helps!
