I am working on a SolPartMenu in DotNetNuke 4 but am stuck on modifying the sub menu. I am getting a border around my sub items when the mouse is held over the selection. I have tried modifying all css styles I can find but have been unsuccessful in removing the border.

.MainMenu_MenuItemSel {
   border: 0px;}

Anyone have any ideas what I may be missing?

Thanks in advance,
Tom

it is space reservedd for the icon, so look for icon related style definition

leupold,

Thanks for the response, unfortunatly I may not have worded my problem correctly and the icon made it a little confusing.

I have been unable to remove the orange border from the submenu. The color is based on the

.Mainmenu_MenuItemSel{
   color:#FF9900;}

This color also seems to set the color of the border on the submenu, however I have been unable to figure out how to remove the border or make the border color independent from the MenuItemSelect.

Hope this makes more sense,
Tom

Hi there,

try forcing the border styles in both the MenuItem and MenuItemSel to the same setting.

I'm not sure though how you will get around having the icon background color as orange though.... because then the color of the border around the icon placeholder will also be the same...

Keep trying, i'd be interested to see your result.
