3.) In IIS I verify ASP 2.0 is selected

...but when I  try to give full control to the NT AUTHORYTY user account into the classic form ...it doesn't appear !

I tried everywhere in the server with "SEARCH" ..but it doesn't exist !!!!  ...while ASPNET user account appears !!! ( on the NET there are two servers , one with Windows 2000 - IIS5 installed - the master- and my server with  Windows 2003 - IIS6 ) . Gived permission at the  ASPNET user account  I tried to launch the web site and appear the message :

 If using Windows 2000 - IIS5
- the {Server}\ASPNET User Account must have Read, Write, and Change Control of the virtual root of your website

If using Windows 2003 - IIS6
- the NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE User Account must have Read, Write, and Change Control of the virtual root of your website

The user is a member of one of the groups you see, setting the security.
Open the group, click members and the user will be listed.
Took me a while too to figure out.

No way ! But curiosly using SQL Server Manager Studio Express .... I can find the NT AUTHORITY\ NETWORK SERVICE user account  !!!!!!!

Is it something wrong under II6 ? Must I set up something ? It's very strange because  I have developed other web sites with Microsoft Visual WEB Developer Express ( also with databases included ) ... and they are running perfectly !

Thanks in advance

You don't have to change anything in IIS to set NTFS user rights
