Please take a read of my reply @ http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/ForumsDotNetNuke/tabid/795/forumid/20/threadid/19225/threadpage/9/scope/posts/Default.aspx , that should provide some context.

As per your suggestion for a paid program, i'm sure if the money was there it could become a consideration, but there isn't the money there. Communityserver is a commercial product, that generates revenue through licensing, as well as employing staff to deliver projects, whereas the revenue we receive from advertising/benefactors etc., goes towards costs (on a number of occasions, Shaun has paid people out of his own pocket to ensure that work was done on time)

Two weeks are over but no one from the Core Team has officially posted anything.

Cathal, could you you please suggest us what we should do (i.e. do you know any commercial module that really works?).

Thank you, Paolo

i have been travelling for work the past 10 days, so am still catching up on 1000+ emails. When I left, the projects/teams were being checked into, and various decisions are going to happen (read into that what you will), so expect change

One more week is passed by but no new post about this.
I do not want to be boring but I have seen on the DNN blogs that many project have new leaders but no announce for this one.
Do you have nay news to share with us?
Thank you, Paolo

not as far as I'm aware, though Scott (who now has responsibility for projects) is working his way through them, motivating the teams and (where necessary) arranging for replacements - i'm sure you'll see movement soon.
