Yay... Take Me to the Community!

Welcome to the DNN Community Forums, your preferred source of online community support for all things related to DNN.

For those wanting to do specialized customizations on DNN URLs you can see my post on extending Scott McCulloch's human friendly provider here:

http://www.ventrian.com/Support/ProductForums/tabid/118/forumid/35/postid/12834/view/topic/Default.aspx

An example of it in action on my website:

http://www.yapclub.com/events/572/yap-jamaica-2007.aspx

http://www.yapclub.com/dfw/night-clubs/515/ghost-bar-dallas.aspx

Optionally, if you wanted to, you could also make customizations to the provider to make a URL: mysite com/forums/32434.aspx with 32434 being your forumid.

Note that this is a customized hack solution for a single website only. It's worked well on my website for a couple months now....
